In general, Don Sphynx is a breed which is very dependent on people – I can compair it to a Labrador retriever in a doggie world, they are both very similar in temperament. Dons love caressing, they really need physical contact, they demand being together with their people. Whenever we leave for a few days, they stop eating and start to be very sad, although there is always someone else to take care of them.

But you can normally go to work etc., because your cats become used to it – they sleep during that time. However, it is important to prepare enough toys for them (it is useful to change them time by time) and most of all you must give them your attention in the afternoon or in the evening – this is usually when they are more active. Spend your free time with your cats, you´ll love it.
